The British Invasion

No, not the Beatles. First Os Guinness talked about fulfilling our calling and now Lindsay Brown is going to challenge us. "Don't waste your life!" he says. Brown is the International Director of the Lausanne Movement and former General Secretary of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students. In all, he's logged twenty-six years in student ministry and spoken at Urbana and Lausanne. Next Friday, March 23, he'll be speaking to metro area college students and young adults at an event Tenth is helping to host on the Penn campus, challenging them to live with purpose for Christ. The event starts at 7:30 pm in Berger Auditorium in Skirkanich Hall, 210 South 33rd Street.

Hospitality Opportunity

The National Christian Forensics and Communicators Association (NCFCA.org) is having a major speech and debate tournament for homeschooled high school students at Fellowship Bible Church in Sewell, NJ, April 11-14.  Housing -- only a place to lay heads down (most contestants have sleeping bags), no meals (tournament provides meals) -- is needed for the contestants and their families, Wed-Fri nights.  If you live within one hour’s driving distance to Sewell, NJ (Parish 6 or just across the Delaware River in PA) and can help, please contact Vanessa Fiori at vafiori@verizon.net or 215-579-7890.

Judges are also needed, no experience necessary, just your time.

Housing Needed

I am a physician starting fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital at the end of June and am looking for either a 1BR apartment or a 2BR apartment with a roommate, that is near the hospital.  Also, parking and washer/dryer are a plus.  I prefer someone who is Christian, non-smoker, no pets. Please contact me if you know of an opportunity.
