Sam Rotman Piano Concert at Proclamation

Internationally acclaimed concert pianist Sam Rotman will play a free concert on Tuesday, May 21 at 7 PM at Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr. Mr. Rotman will play works by Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff. More information can be found on Proclamation's website.

Bethany Walk-and-Run

On Saturday, June 1, Bethany Christian Services will hold its third annual Walk and 5K fund-raiser at Mondauk Common in Ambler, PA.  The “A Home for Every Child” event raises awareness of the need to adopt children with special needs, and also raises funds to support these adoptions. Register here by May 13 and get a free shirt.

Center City prison volunteers needed

Prison Ministry volunteer training will be conducted at the Federal Detention Center, 700 Arch Street, Tuesday evening, May 21, and Saturday morning May 25. Although Tenth members have served there longer than any other church, the number of volunteer staff are dwindling. For more information on leading an inmate Bible study or preparing inmates for post-release job interviews, contact David at dapple@tenth.org.

Soccer in Upper Darby

MULTICULTURAL UNITED SOCCER CLUB in Upper Darby is hosting registration for kids ages 4-17 on Saturdays, May 18 and May 25, 11AM-3PM at Multicultural Community Family Services (7016 Terminal Square, Suite 1A, Upper Darby). The fun recreational program includes character-building and runs summer-winter. We are also looking for volunteers to coach and fill other important roles.
